I smiled when I heard the synths begin for ‘Friendly Fire’, the first song off of In My Coma’s album, ‘Magnets and Miracles’. I began to feel this strange overcoming of the dark mood of British pop and melodic rock, and Jasper James’ lead vocals cut like a razor blade. The music flows extremely well together, Laura Doll being a phenomenal bassist and Mike Patterson rocking on the drums. The lyrics are meaningful and coordinated, which I believe is very hard to find these days. I don’t listen to much modern music. To be honest, I try to avoid it as much as possible.

I was pleasantly surprised when I first heard In My Coma’s song “Losing Sleep”. It has an Indie groove with In My Coma's Magnets and Miraclestastes of rock that seriously made me jam. I was really happy Radio Nation sent me this amazing CD, letting me know that there’s an amazing modern band left for me in this era. It’s hard to choose a favorite song by In My Coma. My favorite song on this album is ‘Hit Them Down Kid’. It has a raw flavor that really appealed to my senses and reason. I will most definitely become a regular listener to both Radio Nation and In My Coma. surprisingly still unsigned.

Each song made my very happy and this is the kind of CD I could listen to not only on a bad day, but any kind of day. My friends and family will be hearing about this band, copies of songs will be distributed, and I can’t thank you enough for the gift of brilliant music. “I know the weather’s getting so damn cold, I never want to let it go."
